Welcome to our Tree Guide, which accompanies our on-site Tree Trail! The trail documents 23 different species of trees that are found and signed on our ½ mile trail that winds through the forest. The Guide includes a map, as well information on each native tree species found here including location notes specific to Spring Forest, fun facts about the ecological and ethnobotanical (how humans have used trees) role the species plays, and a link to more information from NC State Extension Service.
